I was born and raised in New England, and studied in France for two years after high school. I have traveled back and forth across the US in a beat up old van with all my worldly possessions, and I am a "sailing junkie". Besides New England, and France, I have lived in Santa Barbara, California and Sun Valley, Idaho.

A dabbler in many trades over the years, I have had experience in sales and marketing, visual merchandising, market research and even furniture restoration, among other things.  I have done printmaking, wood sculpting, ceramics and painting.

I re-established myself in New England in 1997 after having been away for 15 years and now live with my young son in Metro West Boston. I built a home-based pottery studio and workshop where I sometimes spend my "spare" time. Creative in nature, I enjoy building things from discarded wood (pallets etc), re-purposing discarded treasures (fondly known as "dumpster diving" by some) and salvaging and refinishing antique furniture.

These days I enjoy time with my son, camping, gardening and being outdoors - no matter the season. In the winter, I enjoy snowshoeing, good films, reading and my word games. Most evenings in the summer, I can be found sitting by our backyard fire pit listening to music and poking at the fire.
